MOST Culinary Institute Grand Opening in Cebu

If there's one thing I can't do, it's baking.

Yup.

The last time I tried to bake a chocolate cake it ended up looking and tasting like grey foam.
You know, the kind that's used for mattresses. Eew!

Since then I've sworn off baking.

But I do love cakes and pastries so maybe there's still hope for me. Especially now that MOST Institute Cebu Campus finally opened its doors to thousands, if not millions, of  Cebuano hopefuls wanting to try their knack in the kitchen or to please their loved ones with sumptuous meals.

And last weekend, I was fortunate enough to be there at the grand opening in Mandaue City.

A trade school that offers quality education, MOST Institute is behind the success of over 3,000 graduates, with a lot of them being successful chefs domestically and internationally.

So hey, if they were able to do it, maybe we can too.

What's more interesting is that the school offers different courses to match an individual's preference. They include:

  • Certificate in Culinary Arts - for students with little to zero experience.
  • Certificate in Baking and Pastries - for those who like, well, baking and pastries. Like me! Hahaha
  • Halal Culinary Arts - this is perfect for those who want to work in Muslim countries as a chef or something.
  • Fundamentals of Asian Culinary Arts - For those who want to delve in to the secrets of Asian cuisine.

Not only that, but the school also offers lifestyle courses, such as Culinaria de Menor (for kids), Japanese Sushi (yum!) and Baking and Pastries lifestyle course (this is definitely for me).

So, yeah, I think this school is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the art of baking and cooking, regardless of whether it's for personal or professional reasons.

First of the highlight of the event. Meeting these two hunks, Daniel Matsunaga and Fabio Ide.

Second highlight of the event is hanging out with these lovely bloggers.
Here's a brochure to learn more about MOST Institute:

Feel free to visit their campus as well, which is at 3/F Square One Building, 232 Lopez Jaena St., Tipolo, Mandaue City, Cebu.

See you there, folks!

  1. Pretty useful information on this event. I am looking for a beautiful event space NYC for arranging my best friend’s wedding reception. Searched online and came across few venues and hope to have great time there with my friends.
